The TEARS Foundation
The TEARS Foundation believes that every child’s life deserves to be honored and memorialized in accordance with the grieving parents’ wishes and is committed to helping bereaved parents with this experience. Every grieving parent deserves access to ongoing bereavement support, so they also offer free support groups for bereaved families who have experienced the death of their baby.
Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.
Parents of an Angel’s founder, Caroline Jefferson, often felt isolated in the early months after losing her son. She wanted support but didn’t always know where to find it or who to turn to. The resources found on Parents of an Angel helped Caroline tremendously and, it is our hope that having all these organizations in one place is an even bigger help for you.
The Compassionate Friends offers “virtual chapters” through an Online Support Community (live chats). This program was established to encourage connecting and sharing among parents, grandparents, and siblings (over the age of 18) grieving the death of a child.
Mommies Ending Neonatal Death (M.E.N.D.)
M.E.N.D. (Mommies Enduring Neonatal Death) is a Christian, non-profit organization that reaches out to families who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. Together, we are breaking down the barriers associated with the isolation and sadness of pregnancy and infant loss as we strive to turn our children’s lives into legacies.
If you would like to submit a resource for review, please contact us with the organization and their details.
